abstract |
There is described a method for gluing a tubular, first object to an inwardly located second object with the aid of a glue coating which includes a low friction component and which is produced on preferably the inner surface of the first object, whereafter the coating is dried. The first object to which the glue coating is applied can be stored for several years. After activating the glue coating with water, the inner surface of the first object obtains good sliding properties and can thus be slid into position along the outer surface of the inwardly located second object. There is also described a semi-manufacture in the form of a golf club handgrip obtained through the agency of the glue coating, this handgrip being easily fitted to the club shaft after wetting the inner surface of the handgrip. |
