The invention relates to novel compositions comprising, in a carrier aqueous, an abrasive system containing an alkali metal bicarbonate, and a surfactant system, which are characterized by the fact that said surfactant system active comprises a nonionic surfactant poly (hydroxypropylether). Such compositions are in particular oral hygiene compositions. The invention also relates to the use of these compositions, as, or for the manufacture of, a toothpaste in the form of a paste, a gel, a liquid or chewing gum. |
