titleOfInvention | Non-hydrocarbon invert emulsions for use in well drilling operations wherein the external phase comprises poly (1-4,oxybutylene) glycol |
abstract | Invert emulsions are presented for use as well working fluids. The fluids have an external phase comprised of poly (1,4-oxybutylene) glycol and an aqueous internal phase. The separate phases are emulsified to create an emulsion and may be weighted with traditional weighting agents. The external phase is soluble or dispersible in sea water when diluted upon discharge. |
