SHORT The invention relates to a method and a device for filtration of a liquid medium, in particular waste water, containing particles and suspended matter. We do pass through a liquid medium a filtering agent comprising fragments of expanded, deformable plastic elastically, with open or semi-open cells, of a dimension between 0.1 and 2.5 mm, the fragments of plastic material having a maximum volume of approximately 8 cm3 at the uncompressed state. |
