titleOfInvention | Mycoplasma probes |
abstract | The present invention relates to a detection system for mycoplasma, including detection of different strains within a species, where the detection system is a method which comprises contacting a sample suspected of containing said mycoplasma withat least one probe specific for a mycoplasma under appropriate hybridization conditions to stably hybridize the probe to a genetic sequence from said mycoplasma and then detecting hybridisation. The invention also relates to Mycoplasma nucleotide sequences and a method of manipulating the mycoplasma genome. |
