titleOfInvention Diphenyl acetic acid derivatives
abstract Novel diphenyl acetic acid derivatives of the formula I are described, (see Formula I) in which R is C3-C18-2-alkenyl, C3-C8-2-alkynyl or phenyl-C1-C4alkyl, each of which is unsubstituted or substituted by phenyl, R1 is hydrogen, C1-C18alkyl, C5-C12cycloalkyl or phenyl-C1-C4alkyl, R2 is -OR4 or -NR5R6, R4 is hydrogen, C1-C18alkyl or (-CH2-)n G, R5 and R6 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C12alkyl or phenyl-C1-C4alkyl, R7, R8, R9 and R10 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl or C1-C4alkoxy, with the proviso that at least one of the radicals R7, R8, R9 or R10 is hydrogen, R11 is hydrogen, C1-C18alkoxy, C5-C8cycloalkoxy, phenyl-C1-C4alkoxy or C3-C18-2-alkenyloxy, n is a number from 2 to 12, and G is a group of the formula (see Formula II) The compounds according to the invention can be used as stabilisers for organic materials.
