The branched organopolysiloxane is described by formula (SiO4/2)x(R12ASiO1/2)y(R13SiO1/2)z(RO1/2 u' wherein each R1 is independently selected from a group consisting of C1-8 alkyls, haloalkyls, alkenyls, and aryls; A is described by formula (OSiR2R3)n-R4, wherein R2 and R3 are independently selected from a group consisting of C1-8 alkyls, haloalkyls, alkenyls, and aryls, R4 is selected from a group consisting of C1-8 alkyls, haloalkyls, alkenyls, hydrogen atom and hydroxyl, and 1 ? n ? 1,000; R is selected from a group consisting of hydrogen atom and C1-8 alkyls; 2 ? x ? 500; 0 ? z; 0 ? u ? 15; 2 ? y + z + u ? 150; 0.3 ? (y + z + u)/x ? 3.0; z + u > 0; and 0 < u/(y + z + u) ? 0.1.
