titleOfInvention | Electrophotographic photoreceptor |
abstract | ABSTRACT An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising an electrically conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer formed thereon, wherein said photosensitive layer contains at least one member selected from the group consisting of compounds of the following formulas (I), (II) and (III): (I) wherein X is a hydrogen atom or a group of -CR6=C(R7)R8; each of Ar1 and Ar2 which may be the same or different, is an alkyl group which may have substituents, an aryl group which may have substituents, or a heterocyclic group which may have substituents; each of Ar3 and Ar4 which may be the same or different, is an arylene group which may have substituents, or a bivalent heterocyclic group which may have substituents; each of R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7 and R8 which may be the same or different, is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may have substituents, an aryl group which may have substituents, or a heterocyclic group which may have substituents (provided that when either one of R4 and R5, or R7 and R8, is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, the other is an aryl group or a heterocyclic group); each of R9 and R10 which may be the same or different, is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group which may have substituents, an alkoxy group which may have substituents, or a substituted amino group; dotted line 1 indicates that Ar1 may bond as shown by the dotted line to the aromatic group bonded to the nitrogen atom to form a structure of the formula (A-III) or (A-IV), dotted line 2 indicates that Ar2 may bond as shown by the dotted line to the aromatic group bonded to the nitrogen atom to form a structure of the formula (A-V) or (A-VI), dotted line 3 indicates that Ar3 may bond as shown by the dotted line to the aromatic group bonded to the nitrogen atom to form a structure of the formula (A-VII) or (A-VIII), and dotted line 4 indicates that Ar4 may bond as shown by the dotted line to the aromatic group bonded to the nitrogen atom to form a structure of the formula (A-IX) or (A-X): (A-III) (A-IV) (A-V) (A-VI) (A-VII) (A-VIII) A-IX) (A-X) (II) wherein Q1 is any one of the groups of the following formulas (B-III) to (B-VII); Q2 is any one of the groups of the following formulas (B-IV) to (B-VIII): (B-III) , (B-IV) , (B-V) , (B-VI) , (B-VII) , (B-VIII) y1 is an aliphatic linking group which may have substituents, and the main chain of the linking group may contain an oxygen atom or a carbon-carbon double bond; each of Ar5 and Ar6 which may be the same or different, is an alkyl group which may have substituents, an aryl group which may have substituents or a heterocyclic group which may have substituents; each of R11, R12, R13, R14, R15 and R19 which may be the same or different, is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may have substituents, a halogen atom or an alkoxy group which may have substituents; each of R16 and R13 which may be the same or different, is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may have substituents, or an aryl group which may have substituents; each of R17 and R20 which may be the same or different, is an aryl group which may have substituents, or a heterocyclic group which may have substituents; dotted line 5 indicates that the two phenyl groups bonded to the same nitrogen atom may bond as shown by the dotted line to form a structure of the following formula (B-IX) or (B-XI), and dotted line 6 indicates that the two phenyl groups bonded to the same nitrogen atom may bond as shown by the dotted line to form a structure of the following formula (B-X) or (B-XII): (B-IX) (B-X) (B-XI) (B-XII) (III) wherein Q3 is any one of the groups of the following formulas (C-II) to (C-VI); Q4 is any one of the groups of the following formulas (C-III) to (C-VII): (C-II) (C-III) (C-IV) (C-V) (C-VI) (C-VII) Y2 is an arylene group which may have substituents, or a bivalent heterocyclic group which may have substituents; each of Ar7, Ar9, R26 and R28 which may be the same or different, is an alkyl group which may have substituents, an aryl group which may have substituents or a heterocyclic group which may have substituents; each of Ar8 and Ar10 which may be the same or different, is an aryl group which may have substituents, or a heterocyclic group which may have substituents; each of R21, R22, R25 and R27 which may be the same or different, is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group which may have substituents, or an alkoxy group which may have substituents; each of R23 and R24 which may be the same or different, is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group which may have substituents, an aryl group which may have substituents, or a heterocyclic group which may have substituents; dotted line 7 indicates that Ar8 may bond to the benzene ring to which R21 is bonded, as shown by the dotted line to form a structure of the following formula (C-VIII) or (C-IX), and dotted line 8 indicates that Ar10 may bond to the benzene ring to which R22 is bonded, as shown by the dotted line to form a structure of the following formula (C-X) or (C-XI): (C-VIII) (C-IX) (C-X) (C-XI) and each of m and n is an integer of 0 or 1 and m + n ? 1. |
