abstract ABSTRACT The invention relates to a new organic derivative of a metal. This organic derivative of a metal is charac-terized in that it consists of a derivative of a metal, preferably of valency equal to at least 3, with an organic compound comprising a phospholipid conferring water-solubility or water-miscibility on the organic derivative of said metal. Advantageously, this phospholipid comprising [sic] at least one unsaturated fatty acid of the ?-linolenic or .gamma.-linolenic acid type. The organic derivatives of a metal according to the invention constitute valuable biomediators, and accordingly constitute active principles of pharmaceutical compositions having various activities, and in particular immunomodulatory activity.
