titleOfInvention | Aqueous cleaner/degreaser emulsion compositions |
abstract | Stable, aqueous cleaner/degreaser emulsion compositions are formulated with at least one sparingly soluble organic solvent having specified compositional characteristics, a solubilizing additive and water. The solubilizing additive may consist of from approximately 0.1 to approximately 100 weight percent of a surfactant and from 0 to approximately 99.9 weight percent of a coupler and is present in an amount insufficient to solubilize all of the total organic solvent content but sufficient to emulsify the unsolubilized portion of the total organic solvent content. The emulsion compositions so formulated provide enhanced degreasing efficacies. |
