Abstract: The invention concerns the use of a 2.beta.,16.beta.-diamino-3.alpha.,17-dihydroxy androstane derivative of the formula (I) in which R1, R2, R3, and R4 are independently selected from hydrogen, (C1-6) alkyl, (C7-12) aralkyl, (C2-6) acyl, and (C3-7) cycloalkyl which is optionally substituted with (C1-6) alkyl, or R1 and R2, and/or R3 and R4 together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded represent a 5-, 6-, or 7-membered ring which is optionally substituted with (1-6) alkyl, and the twitched line represents an .alpha. or .beta. bond, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, for the manufacture of a medicament for treating arrhythmic disorders. |
