abstract |
Abstract of the Disclosure Disclosed is a one-component magnetic developer for the electrophotography, which comprises one-component magnetic toner particles and at least one fine particulate additive selected from the group consisting of hydrophobic silica, hydrophilic silica and alumina, wherein the one-component magnetic toner particles have a sphericity degree (DS), defined by the following formula, of 70 to 90%, and a specific surface area of 1.4 to 2.0 m2/g: DS = Cc/CT (1) wherein Cc represents the outer circumference of a circle having the same area as the projected area of the toner, and CT represent the actual outer circumference of the projected plane of the toner. This developer is excellent in the flowability and can provide an image having a high density. |
