abstract | ABSTRACT Disclosed herein is a design system for designing, dynamically changing and displaying design drawings. The invention allows a user to select a solid object from a display as the current, active object. The user then selects a surface to present in the foreground. The system then modifies the display data structure to accentuate the foreground surface by modifying the illumination of individual pixels.
