titleOfInvention Process for making polyurethane foam padding moulded in situ in a textile envelope
abstract SHORT Method of manufacturing foam padding polyurethane cast in situ in a textile cover and cushion thus obtained The present invention relates to a method of manufacture of polyurethane foam padding in situ casting in a textile cap and cushion thus obtained. Method of making foam padding of polyurethane cast in situ in a cap textile, characterized in that it consists in disposing successively in a mold (1) a textile (2) lined a sheet of foam (3), then a waterproof film (4), press the complex (5) thus obtained, by suction born to constitute the cover of the cushion, on the wall dull (6) of the mold (1), to then flow into said mold (1) a foaming mixture of polyurethane (7) which heals and gels after closing said mold (1), and, finally, to carry out a microperforation of said film (4) waterproof thus giving it good permeability to water vapor and allowing to generate, even the effect of suction, depression in the foam (8) during gelation, so that the padding of resulting foam (8) present, after polymerization and demoulding, open constituent cells (11) and communicating.
