titleOfInvention Method of bleaching pulp
abstract A method of bleaching pulp of cellulosic fibrous material in the production of chemical pulp in a bleach plant is described wherein the entering pulp is fed continuously in a bleaching line thereof. The method comprises the step of bleaching the pulp with chlorine dioxide and ozone in one and the same stage in optional sequence. Chlorine dioxide and ozone are added at points separated from each other and each at at least one point in the bleaching line. Said stage is free from intermediate washing between the points where chlorine dioxide and ozone are added.
