titleOfInvention Method for removal of dioxin generated in waste combustion
abstract METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF DIOXIN GENERATED IN WASTE COMBUSTION ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Dioxin generated during the combustion of waste material can be satisfactorily removed efficiently and economically by irradiating waste incineration ash contain-ing ca. 10 - 90% by weight of water in a temperature range from ambient temperature to ca. 80°C with ionizing radiation for a total dose of ca. 10 - 2,000 kGy. The ash or sludge after the irradiation treatment can be very conveniently disposed of by burial, etc.
