titleOfInvention Imidazo [2,1-b]thiazole compounds and anti-ulcer compositions containing the same
abstract ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to imidazo[2,1-b]thiazole compounds represented by formula (I) and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof: (I) wherein R1 and R2 may be the same or different groups and each represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a phenyl group which may be optionally substituted by methyl group, methoxy group or halogen; and R4 represents a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, with the proviso that when R3 represents a hydrogen atom, at least one of R1 and R2 represents a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and antiulcer agents comprising said compounds or salts thereof as the active ingredient.
