titleOfInvention Master batch for production of toners used in electrophotography
abstract Abstract of the Disclosure A method of producing a master batch for the production of toners used in electrophotography is disclosed, which comprises: mixing and kneading a binder resin in an amountof 100 parts by weight, at least one of dyes and pigments in an amount of 1-300 parts by weight and an organic solvent in an amount of 5-500 parts by weight in which the binder resin is soluble, and then, optionally crushing or granulating the mixture. There is further disclosed a method of producing toners for use in electrophotography which comprises: adding 100 parts by weight of a second binder resin to 2-20 parts by weight of the master batch together with an effective amount of an additive when necessary, to form a second mixture, kneading the second mixture to a composition; and (c) crushing the composition to toner particles.
