abstract A B S T R A C T PREPARATION OF COPOLYMERS OF CARBON MONOXIDE Copolymers of carbon monoxide with one or more mono-olefins having at least three carbon atoms in the molecule are prepared by copolymerization of the monomers in the presence of a catalyst composition based upon a) a palladium compound, b) an anion of an acid having a pKa < 2, and c) a bisphosphine of formula (R2)2P-R-P(R2)2, where R is a bivalent bridging group having at least two C-atoms in the bridge, and R2 is an optionally polar-substituted aliphatic hydrocarbyl group, and in the additional presence of a compound of formula C(X)(Y)(OR3)2 wherein X = H or hydrocarbyl, Y = H, hydrocarbyl or OR3, and R3 = hydrocarbyl.
