titleOfInvention | Substituted polyfluoroalkyl acetates, thioacetates and acetamides; process for preparing them and their uses |
abstract | PRECISION OF DISCLOSURE: The invention relates to compounds of the acetate type, polyfluoroalkyl thioacetate or acetamide which can be represented by the general formula: in which Rf represents a perfluoroalkyl radical, m is an integer ranging from 1 to 4, Q denotes an atom of oxygen or sulfur or an NH group, X- represents a anion, R1 represents an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R2 represents the allyl radical or a alkyl radical containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and R3 represents an alkyl radical containing from 7 to 18 atoms of carbon or one of the following radicals: _ (CH2) nS- (CH2) m-Rf ' - (CH2) nO-CO-C (R) = CH2 where n is an integer ranging from 2 to 4, R is an atom of hydrogen or the methyl radical, and Y denotes a bridge alkylene of 2 to 8 carbon atoms optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom. These compounds are usable as surfactants or as monomers for the production of artificial vesicles. |
