titleOfInvention | Humidifying apparatus |
abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The humidity of the atmosphere of a heat-treating furnace is controlled by the use of superheated steam, which is generated by the use of a furnace-heated humidifier to which water is fed through a capillary tube. A secondary gas flow passes through the humidifier and is humidified by the superheated steam. The humidified secondary gas flow then passes to a primary gas flow to be mixed therewith, before the primary gas flow passes to the furnace atmosphere. |
