abstract ABSTRACT This invention relates to new tetrahydrofuran derivatives having the general formula I wherein either each of R and R' independently represents a hydrogen atom or various hydrocarbon substituents and A represents either a nitrogen containing ring or an alkylammonium salt or an alkylaminoacid rest; a process for the preparation of said compounds and therapeutic compositions containing said compounds as an active ingredient. The compounds of the present invention are useful for the treatment of asthma.
