titleOfInvention | Polyurea rim systems having improved flow properties |
abstract | POLYUREA RIM SYSTEMS HAVING IMPROVED FLOW PROPERTIES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention is directed to a RIM process and an isocyanate-reactive mixture useful therein. The mixture comprises i) a polyether having at least two isocyanate-reactive groups and a molecular weight of from 1800 to 12,000 in which at least 50% of the isocyanate-reactive groups are primary and/or secondary amine groups, ii) an amine-terminated chain extender, and iii) from 2 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of components b) and c) of a cyclic alkylene carbonate. |
