.alpha.,.beta. -UNSATURATED CARBONYL-FUNCTIONAL SILICONE COMPOSITIONS Abstract of the Disclosure Polymerizable .alpha. , .beta.-unsaturated carbonyl-functional silicone compositions are obtained from the reaction of thiol-functional organopolysiloxanes with an .alpha. ,.beta. -unsaturated car-bonyl-functional compound having at least two acryloyl or methacryloyl groups or mixtures thereof per molecule in the presence of a base catalyst. The .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated carbonyl-functional silicone compositions may be combined with a photosensitizer and/or a free radical generator and polymerized by radiation and/or heat. |
