abstract ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a method of pre-paring a catalyst for the ammoximation of carboxylic com-pounds, consisting of a synthetic, crystalline and porous material based on silicon and titanium oxides characteri-zed in that a preformed matrix of amorphous silica is im-pregnated with an aqueous solution, containing a titanium compound and an organic compound of nitrogen, as a templa-ting agent, and that to the thus impregnated material a zeolitic structure is given by means of a hydrothermal syn-thesis of usual typo, shape and size of the matrix being substantially maintained unchanged.
