titleOfInvention | Modulation of lymphokine-resistant cellular states by dsrnas |
abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Tumor cells sub- or non-responding to the antiproliferative effects of lymphokines, notably the interferons and the interleukins, are rendered lymphokine-responsive by exposing the tumor cells to exogenous mismatched dsRNAs. These dsRNAs themselves modulate cell growth of susceptible tumors towards normalization and loss of cancerous cell phenotype. |
