abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to dispersion polymers, processes for their preparation, and their use, and also active dispersion polymers (latex conjugates) prepared therefrom, the dispersion polymers being obtained by polymerizing compounds of the formula I H2C=C(R1)-CO-NH-(CH2)n-CH(OR2)(OR3) I in which n denotes 1 - 6; R1 denotes H or CH3 and R2 and R3 are identical or different and denote -(CH2)m-CH3, m denotes 0 - 7, or -CY(X)(Z), in which X, Y and Z denote (CH2)pCH3 and p denotes 1 - 3, where X, Y and Z are identical or different, and compounds of the formula II H2C=C(R1)-CO-R-(CH2)n-(CHOH)m-(CH2)1-H II in which R denotes O or NH; n denotes 1 - 3; m denotes 1 - 4; l denotes 0 - 4; and R1 denotes H or CH3, with one another in the presence of a seed dispersion, whereby the copolymer is formed on the surface of the latex particles. Latex conjugates are obtained therefrom by bonding the interesting antibodies or antigens to the dispersion polymers accorciing to the invention. |
