titleOfInvention Heat resistant article and method for its manufacture
abstract HEAT RESISTANT ARTICLE AND METHOD FOR ITS MANUFACTURE ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The heat-resistant articles in question consist of a casting and an insert which is at least partially surrounded by the basic material of the casting by being cast in place and which consists of a finely-porous heat-resistant material, particularly a ceramic material or a cermet. The insert is so made or prepared that an unhindered escape of gases evolved from the insert during the casting process is made possible. Further, methods for manufacturing such heat-resistant articles are proposed. Fig. 1
