titleOfInvention | Track lighting system |
abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A track lighting system including a plurality of track sections carrying electrical conductors for supplying current to lighting fixtures mounted on the track sections. Connector members for the track sections join the track sections in end-to-end relationship, or at right angles with respect to one another. The connector members provide for a continuous electrical conductive path between adjacent track sections, and also establish a grounding connection for the track lighting system. The grounding portions of the connector members are constructed and arranged to provide a detenting action to resist disassembly of the track sections from the connector members. |
