titleOfInvention | Heat-sensitive recording material |
abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a heat-sensitive recording material comprising a substrate and a color-developing layer which comprises a near infrared-absorbing fluoran-type leuco dye, an electron acceptor and an electron donor. The electron acceptor and the electron donor react with each other and form a chelate when heated. A typical electron acceptor is a polyvalent hydroxyaromatic compound and a typical electron donor is a double metal salt of a higher fatty acid. This heat-sensitive recording material provides a superior optical readability in near infrared region. |
