ABSTRACT ANTITUMOR ANTHRACYCLINE GLYCOSIDES, THEIR PREPARATION, INTERMEDIATES THEREOF AND COMPOSITIONS AND USE THEREOF New anthracycline glycosides having formula: wherein R1 is hydrogen or hydroxy and either R2 or R3 is hydrogen with the other amino-methyl are described. The new compounds and their phar-maceutically acceptable addition salts are useful as antitumour agents. |
