Tooth paste containing a non ionic poly(hydroxypropylether) surfactant and saltof a specific derivative of a protein degradation product |
abstract |
ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION The invention relates to a toothpaste containing combination (A) a nonionic poly (hy-droxypropylether) and (B) a salt of a specific derivative of a protein breakdown product, selected from the group contained by (i) an alkaline salt of an N-acyl N-methylglycine (N-acyl sarcosine) of formula: where R denotes an alkyl- or a mixture of alkyls having from 9 to 17 carbon atoms, and (ii) an alkaline salt of a condensate d C12-C18 fatty acids and a hydro-lysed. The toothpaste according to the invention is characterized by a good foaming power, pleasant taste and is not aggressive towards the mucous membranes of the mouth and the gums. |
