Abstract of the disclosure: Urethanes which contain perfluoroalkyl groups, epi-chlorohydrin groups and dialcohol radicals, the preparation and use thereof The novel urethanes, in addition to at least one per-fluoroalkyl group, also contain epichlorohydrin groups and dialcohol radicals in the molecule. They are pre-pared by reacting a fluorine-containing alcohol with epichlorohydrin to give the perfluoroalkyl-epichlorohyd-rin adduct, reacting this adduct with a di- or triiso-cyanate to give the perfluoroalkyl-epichlorohydrin-iso-cyanate adduct and by reacting this adduct with a dial-cohol or a monoetherified dialcohol to give the desired urethanes having a perfluoroalkyl group and having epi-chlorohydrin groups and dialcohol radicals, and by reac-ting a suitable urethane compound of this type with a perfluoroalkyl-containing di- or triisocyanate to give the desired urethanes having a plurality of perfluoroal-kyl groups and having epichlorohydrin groups and dialco-holradicals. The novel urethanes are preferably used for the oleophobic and hydrophobic finishing of textiles. |
