abstract | Abstract of the Disclosure DIETARY MONITORING SYSTEM A device and system for monitoring calorie and/or nutritional intake according to a pre-determined nutritional plan of food consumed by an individual during a pre-determined period of time is provided. The device comprises a record member having displayed thereon a plurality of collections. Each collection comprises a plurality of defined areas and represents a different food group and/or nutritional designation. Each collection is identified by appropriate indicia as to the identity of such food group and/or nutritional designation. Each defined area represents at least one defined unit of caloric content or nutrition. The total number of areas and collections represent the predetermined nutritional plan. The dietary monitoring system includes the device and a list setting forth the caloric content and/or nutritional value of various food items and defining a unit value for each. |
