ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is disclosed an antigen comprising at least part of an amino acid sequence of the antigen of a flavivirus, which part contains at least one of epitopes of the flavivirus antigen. The present antigen can be produced easily and safely at low cost by means of recombinant DNA technique. The present antigen can be used as an effective vaccine and diagnostic for Japanese encephalitis. |
