abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There are prepared compounds of the formulae: (1) or (2) where R is H or lower alkyl and n is an integer from 1 to 5. The compounds of formula (1) can be used to make erythro-9-(2-hydroxy-3-nonyl) hypoxanthine and its homologues and also to make the compounds of formula (2). These compounds are useful as immunomodulators. |
