titleOfInvention |
Polyisobutilene containing sunscreen compound, and its use for protecting the skin of humans against harmful ultraviolet radiation |
abstract |
The invention relates to a solar filtering composition comprising at least one oil-soluble agent absorbing UV rays as well as at least one polyisobutylene liquid at room temperature, of viscosimetric average molecular weight between 8000 and 65000, in a cosmetically acceptable medium comprising at least one fatty phase. The sunscreen composition according to the invention is intended to be applied to the human epidermis and has an improved protection index. It also has better resistance to sea water and swimming pool water as well as to perspiration compared to previously known compositions. |
