abstract | Abstract Disclosed is a flame-retardant glass-fiber-reinforced polyethylene terephthalate resin composition formed by blending (A) a polyethylene terephthalate resin, (B) glass fibers, (C) a nucleating agent, (D) a monoepoxy compound having a specific chemical structure and/or a benzoic acid ester having a specific chemical structure, (E) a bromine-containing polymeric flame retarder having aromatic rings in the polymeric side chains, and (E) an antimony oxide in specificed proportions. This resin composition has a very high degree of crystallizability and can yield molded articles having excellent appearance, mechanical strength, heat distortion resistance and flame retardancey. |
