abstract |
ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A silver halide emulsion and a process for producing the same are disclosed. In the process, at least one compound selected from hydrogen peroxide or an adduct or precursor thereof, a peroxy acid salt and ozone is added to an emulsion in the step prior to the end of chemical ripening. The emul-sion exhibits reduced fog, improved stability with time, and improved sensitivity. |
