ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The new compound N-(dichlorofluoromethylthio)-3,4-dimethylmaleimide can be prepared by reacting 3,4-dimethylmaleimide with dichloro-fluoromethanesulphinyl chloride in the presence of an acid-binding agent. N-(dichlorofluoromethylthio)-3,4-dimethylmaleimide is an active compound in microbicidal agents. |
