abstract ABSTRACT Novel amino alkyl substituted urea derivatives and pharmaceutically acceptable acids of the formula where X and Y are the same or different and selected from a phenyl group and a substituted phenyl group with one or two groups selected from halogen, CF3, OH or alkoxyl (1-4 C atoms); and R1 and R2 are the same or different and selected from lower alkyl groups or they form together with a nitrogen atom a saturated five or six membered heterocyclic ring; R3 and R4 are each selected from hydrogen, lower alkyl or alkenyl, cyclo-pentyl or cyclohexyl and n is 0 or 1, which are made by reacting with an alkali metal cyanate in an aqueous acid medium.
