abstract | N-(2-Nitrophenyl)-2-aminopyrimidine derivatives, the preparation and use thereof Abstract The invention discloses novel N-(2-nitrophenyl)-2-aminopyrimidine derivatives of the general formula I (I) wherein R1 and R2 are each independently NO2 or CF3, with the proviso that only R1 or R2 can be NO2 R3 is halogen, R4 is hydrogen or the -C(O)R' group, in which R' is C1-C4alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, C1-C3alkoxy or C1-C3alkylthio . R5, R6 and R7 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, nitro, cyano, thiocyano, C1-C12alkyl, C3-C8cycloalkyl, C1-C8alkylthio, Cl-C6alk.ylsulfonyl, C1-C6alkylsulfoxyl, C3-C6alkenyl, C3-C6halo-alkenyl, C3-C6alkynyl, C3-C6haloalkynyl, C3-C6alkenyloxy, C3-C6-haloalkenyloxy, C3-C6alkenylthio, C3-C6alkynyloxy, C3-C6halo-alkynyloxy, C1-C8alkyl which is substituted by halogen, cyano and/or C1-C4alkoxy, unsubstituted C1-C8alkoxy or halogen-substi-tuted C1-C8alkoxy, the alkyl moiety of which may be interrupted by one or more single oxygen atoms; or are the Q-(E)n-(X)m-group, in which n is 0 or 1, m is 0 or 1, Q is phenyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by halogen, nitro, C1-C3alkyl, CF3 and/or C1-C3alkoxy, or is a saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic radical containing one or more hetero atoms, E is a C1-C3alkylene bridge, and X is oxygen or sulfur. Also disclosed are methods of preparing these compounds, and also agrochemical compositions which contain one such compound as active ingredient. The invention further relates to the use of the novel compounds, or compositions containing them, in agriculture and related fields. |
