titleOfInvention Crystalline aluminosilicate, process for the preparation thereof, and process for the conversion of organic materials using the same
abstract ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The invention relates to a crystalline alumino-silicate, characterized by the fact that it has (1) a ratio of the silicon/alumunium atomic ratio of the external surface of the crystal to the average value of the silicon/aluminium atomic ratio in whole crystal equals to about 1 or more;(2) a chemical composition expressed in terms of oxyde molar ratios of: 0.8 ? 1.6 M2/no-A1203 -10 ? 100 SiO2 0 ? 40 H20, wherein " M" represents a cation and " n" represents the valence of M; and (3) a true monoclinic symmetry and a specific powder X-ray diffraction pattern. The invention also relates to a process for preparing the above mentioned crystal. This crystal shows good reaction selectivities in conversions of hydrocarbons when it is used as catalyst.
