abstract SEPARATION OF ELEMENTAL LEAD FROM BLAST FURNACE BULLION A B S T R A C T The invention relates to the separation of element-al lead from blast furnace bullion containing a substantial amount of PbS in which sodium is introduced into lead bullion followed by control solidification which results in higher recovery of lead from the matte and speiss, and elimination of the prior art expensive undesirable dross reverberatory practice.
