abstract | ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to 1-substituted N-[8.alpha.-ergolinyl]-N',N'-diethylureas of the general formula (I): (I) wherein R1 represents alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R2 represents lower alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, benzyl group, allyl group or a group of general formula -[CH2]nCOOR3, where R3 stands for hydrogen atom or alkyl group having 1 to 2 carbon atoms and n is integer 1 to 4, and to a process for their preparation. Compounds of the above general formula I exhibit dopamin-ergic action on the respective receptors, significant inhibiting effect to prolactine and growth hormone secre-tion and stimulative effect to secretion of gonadotropine. |
