abstract METHOD FOR CLEANING INTERNAL HEAT SURFACES OF POWER GENERATING EQUIPMENT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method for cleaning internal heat surfaces of power generating equipment, which consists in purging power gene-rating equipment with superheated steam and oxygen driven at a speed of 20 to 80 m/sec. The oxygen consumption is 0.3 to 1.0 kg per ton of steam. The process both cleans and passivates internal heat surfaces of power generating equipment. The method considerably facilitates the cleaning of internal heat surfaces of power generating equipment, be-cause it dispenses with chemically aggressive reagents and effluent purification installations. It is further advan-tageous in that internal heat surfaces of power generating equipment are both cleaned and passivated.
