titleOfInvention | 3-[2-(tetra-and hexahydro 4-pyridyl) ethyl] indoles and their use as therapeutic agents |
abstract | SPECIFIC The invention relates to novel compounds regarding the general formula: (I) in which either R represents a hydrogen atom or a alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, X represents a hydrogen or halogen atom and A represents the radical tétrahydro-1,2,5,6 pyridyl-4, let R represent a group alkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, X represents a hydrogen or halogen atom and A represents the radical hexahydro-1,2,3,4,5,6 pyridyl-4, as well as their addi-tion with mineral or organic acids pharmaceutically acceptable. The compounds according to the invention are capable not only to inhibit serotonin reuptake but also cause the release of the contained serotonin either in neurons or in blood platelets. |
