abstract | ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION A new crystalline titanoborosilicate includes a molecular sieve whose composition, expressed by molar ratios of oxides is as follows: 0.9? 0.2 M2 / nO: aTiO2: bB2O3: ySiO2: zH2O where M is at least one cation with valence n, a is greater than zero but less than 1, b is greater than zero but smaller than 1, so that a + b = 1, y is a number which varies between 8 and about 500, and z is a number which varies between 0 and about 100, the product having a diagram specific X-ray diffraction. Titanoborosilicate crystalline is used for the catalysis of various processes, especially the conversion of simple alcohols to hydrocarbons liquids with boiling points in the range petroleum distillation, as well as processes aromatization and alkylation. The disclosure also describes the preparation of the new crystalline titanoborosilicate. |
