abstract ABSTRACT Compositions of dipeptides and/or tripeptides are disclosed for dietary purposes, orally, intragastro-intestinally and intravenously. The tripeptides and dipeptides contain one glycine residue as the N-terminal amino acid grouping. Other amino acid residues contained in the tripeptide or dipeptide can include leucine, isoleucine, valine, threonine, methionine, phenylalanine, iysine, tryptophan, arginine, histidine, alanine, proline and glutamic acid.
