abstract |
SPECIFIC The invention relates to a concave mirror which is intended to provide, when pointed at a distant light source, such that the sun, a useful focal or quasi-focal spot of at least shape approximately square or rectangular and of predetermined dimensions born, the useful spot being centered on the axis of the mirror. The mirror is such that the reflecting surface is made up of a plurality of facets planes, whose shape and dimensions correspond to those of the useful spot and which are arranged in rows and columns, so that the section of the reflected beam coming from each plane facet completely covers the useful spot. The mirror is characterized in that that the two dimensions of the facets are such that the square root of their product is at least approximately equal to the ratio of the focal length of the mirror and the square root of the concentration rate tion of it. |
